Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC)- 2015-16

1. Government of India has offered scholarships – 30 slots to Jordan under the ITEC programme. To facilitate easy filing, the duly recommended applications for ITEC/SCAAP 2015/16 are now required to be filled in by the applicants themselves at the “Apply for ITEC/SCAAP course” website www.itecgoi.in/meaportal/registerApplicant. Details of the training programmes can be accessed at www.itecgoi.in.

2. The applicant can choose their own login email ID and create their login password, which would be used by the system to keep them posted of the processing status. Once the candidate has applied for a course, he/she must take a printout of the application and send it to Embassy of India, Amman through the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Kindly note that a customized Users Manual for the applicants has been placed inside the Portal, the latest version of which can be accessed by clicking the ‘Help’ icon in the website above.

3. The participants applying for training courses must meet the eligibility criteria including basic knowledge of English language to understand and interact in the class, work experience in their relevant Ministry dealing with the subject of the course applied for.  The applicant must be in the age group of 25-45 years.
